2.1 Write a commissioners / partners project summary document
Having established the project ideas it is vital to draw a document that summarises the proposal, planning, roles, objectives and intended outcomes. The process of developing a public art project can often lead down different paths than originally intended, this is not necessarily a negative factor and can often lead to positive and innovative outcomes. However in order for the project to be managed and for evaluation as the project develops it is important that there is a clear shared vision from the beginning that can be referred to throughout the projects life's span.
Key issues to cover in document are:
Why the project is being developed/ what is the vision?
What is the site/community?
Partners and their roles
Desired Outcome and Legacy
External Support Required
