Instructions to Offerers

  1. It is the responsibility of all parties wishing to submit an offer to obtain an Aberdeen City Council tender envelope.  Please click  here to apply for a tender envelope or note an interest by post or via the internet.

    The tender envelope should be returned to:

  2. The offer should take the form of an offer in Scottish Legal Form and be submitted in the tender envelope provided. Offers submitted otherwise than in accordance with this requirement will not be considered.
  3. The date of entry when the Rent / Purchase Price will be payable shall be a date to be agreed, but in any event shall be no later than 4 months after the completion of Missives.
  4. Offerers will require to satisfy themselves with regard to the extent of the property to be leased / sold and the area indicated, whilst believed to be correct, is not guaranteed.
  5. The successful Offererer shall take over any liability actual or contingent in respect of existing boundary enclosures.
  6. Where appropriate the successful Offerer will be responsible for obtaining all appropriate statutory consents.
  7. The subjects will be leased subject to all burdens, conditions and the others contained in the title deeds to the subjects and also with and under the burden of all existing wayleaves and servitudes however constituted. The Council's title deeds may be examined within the Town House by prior arrangement with the Department of Legal and Corporate Services.
  8. The City Council is not bound to accept the highest or any offer.
