The list of titles available was as diverse as the theme including time travel, steampunk and space exploration to name but a few...

50+ Book connections 

For this year's Fifty Plus Festival we challenged our staff and readers to find 50 or more links to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. The final list of recommendations was a fantastic 54 with suggestions including Historical titles, Science Fiction and Fantasy suggestion and even a book on how to knit your own Pride and Prejudice characters!

Read and Remember

Each Spring, Aberdeen City Libraries joins libraries across Scotland to encourage teenagers and adults to get involved in the national reading promotion. In 2015, we encouraged people to remember those involved in World War One by reading books and resources relating to the conflict.
