Grants and Funding Information
The Information Service holds a collection of directories which list sources of grants and funding and will assist both individuals and groups to find financial assistance. These include:

Directory of Social Change (DSC) Funding Databases
DSC is an independent charity which providws essential information and training to the voluntary sector. One of their services is the provision of online funding databases, two of which can be accessed in the Information Centre of the Central Library.
The Grants for Individuals database has information on over 3,500 trusts which provide funding for individuals in need for educational and welfare purposes. Search for relevant trusts by entering criteria.
This guide to company giving has details of almost 600 companies and what sort of donations and community support they are likely to fund.
Aberdeen City Council External and European Funding Service
Available to voluntary organisations and community groups. The service includes access to the Open 4 Funding database which can be searched for project funding. This database takes you through a series of simple questions about your organisation and what you need funding for. It will then produce a list of funders with information about their funding criteria and their contact details. To keep your information confidential you will need to register first on line and obtain your unique password.
