Ferryhill Community Centre's planning application for an extension has been unanimously approved by the Development Management Sub Committee. The small, single-storey extension will be built adjacent to the front entrance of the facility, facing onto Albury Road.
Consideration of plans for a new housing development on the site of Cove Rangers football grounds has been deferred while further negotiation with the applicant is carried out.
Riverside Terrace will be closed between the Holburn Street and Crathie Gardens East junctions for up to a week from Monday [28 May] while sewer connection works are carried out. Access to properties will be maintained but there will be no through traffic. There will be no parking on either side of Riverside Terrace from Holburn Street to the eastern gable of number 2 Riverside Terrace. An alternative route is available via Riverside Drive, Riverside Place and Holburn Street.
A planning application for a sheltered housing complex on the west of Aberdeen has been deferred for a site visit.
