Resurfacing and maintenance work scheduled for waste and recycling centres

Temporary restrictions will be in place at the Sclattie household waste and recycling centre while resurfacing work on its access road is carried out.

The work is scheduled to take place between Monday, 19 November and Monday, 26 November at the Bankhead Avenue site.

The main work is expected to take place on Sunday, 25 November and will involve hot resurfacing, meaning the waste and recycling centre might be inaccessible while the surfacing material cools and sets.

Disruption will be kept to a minimum during all other times.

Meanwhile, the Perwinnes Moss household waste and recycling centre on Scotstown Road will be closed on Thursday, 29 November and Friday, 30 November while essential maintenance work is carried out by operator Sita.

Alternative household waste and recycling centres are available during these works at Pitmedden Road, Dyce, and Greenbank Crescent, East Tullos.
