Aberdeenís Singing Chorus set to deliver concert of Country classics
Aberdeen's Singing Chorus are dusting down their ten gallon Stetsons and digging out their Cowboy boots as they tune up for an evening of All Time Favourite Country Classics.
The largest community choir in Scotland, boasting some 300 members, have been finding their range at the Cowdray Hall as part of preparations for their annual concert at the Music Hall on 28 November (Wednesday).
The Singing Chorus, which is backed by the Common Good Fund, brings people from all walks of life with a love of singing, together for ten weeks of rehearsal, ahead of their performance at the Music Hall.
Musical Director Jim Addison has been leading the chorus through the rigorous rehearsals to make sure the choir comes together as for this year's All Time Favourite Country Hits show.
The evening will pay tribute to some of the icons and legends of country music with the choir performing medleys dedicated to Dolly Parton, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley.
Tickets for the event are selling fast with more than 900 of the capacity of 1200already snapped up.
