Traffic arrangements for UK Oil and Gas annual Service of Remembrance
The UK Oil and Gas Chaplaincy annual service of remembrance and the dedication of the industry's Book of Remembrance, takes place at the Kirk of St Nicholas Uniting at 2pm tomorrow [Saturday, 26 October].
A number of traffic restrictions will be in place to accommodate the event and those attending it. They are as follows:
No parking will be allowed on Huntly Street, outside the Millennium Copthorne Hotel, from 12.30pm until 4pm to allow buses to collect and return those attending the service;
With the exception of vehicles association with the service, no waiting will be allowed on Huntly Street between the Rose Street junction and the Copthorne Hotel;
Back Wynd, Little Belmont Street and Gaelic Lane will be closed to traffic, with the exception of vehicles associated with the service, from 1pm until 3.30pm. An alternative is available via Schoolhill, Upperkirkgate, Broad Street, and Union Street.
