A fascinating talk on book illustrations which are held in the City's Collections will be held at 12.30pm on Wednesday, 01 July at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill.

The talk by Jennifer Melville, keeper (fine art) ties in with the gallery's summer exhibition on award-winning children's author and illustrator Lauren Child. Aberdeen is the only Scottish showing of the interactive exhibition Greendrops and Moonsquirters.

The show features characters from Child's bestselling books, including Charlie and Lola and Clarice Bean. The exhibition opened earlier this month and is open throughout the school holidays until Saturday, 15 August.

The talk will last 30 minutes.
Admission is free. No booking required.
