Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group to host Share Fair at major conference
Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG) will host a supply chain Share Fair event at the Offshore Wind and Supply Chain conference, exhibition and dinner at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) next week.
The aim of the Share Fair is to provide suppliers to the offshore wind industry with the tools and knowledge to succeed with medium to long term business planning.
It will also help equip major contractors and operators with the skills required to communicate their supply chain plans.
During the Share Fair, presentations and one-to-one sessions will be held in the AECC's Boyd Orr Hall over lunchtime on Tuesday 28 January and Wednesday 29 January.
They will focus on forward project planning, business opportunities, procurement processes and key contacts. There will also be a short questions and answers session at the end of each presentation.
This is an invaluable opportunity for the supply chain to engage with key players in the global offshore wind market and learn how to work with them to win future business.
The organisations confirmed to present include AREVA, Mainstream Renewable Power, DNV GL, EDPR, Global Energy, Statoil and Babcock. The organisations involved in the one-to-ones are Statoil, AREVA, DNV GL and Babcock.
Anyone interested in attending the presentations or one-to-ones must be registered as a delegate.
