Big wheel plans lodged with council

Plans to erect a big wheel in Aberdeen's Castlegate have been lodged with the city council.

World Tourist Attractions has lodged an application for detailed planning permission to install a 40metre-high observation wheel at the historic site.

The firm is seeking temporary consent to put the wheel in place from September until January.
