School extension plans approved

A proposal to extend an Aberdeen primary school has been unanimously approved by councillors.
Aberdeen City Council's Development Management Sub-Committee agreed plans to extend Riverbank School in Tillydrone to create four new classrooms, a gym hall and a new waiting room for the nursery.
The gym hall will be linked to the existing school building by a short corridor, which will form the new public entrance to the school. The classrooms, with toilet facilities, will be built behind the gym hall and link to the rear of the existing building, forming a courtyard.
