15/03/13

Craigton Road Day Centre driver Maureen Loggie and escort Barbara Wright have raised £600 for charity by having their heads shaved for Red Nose Day.

Craigton Road Day Centre driver Maureen Loggie (left) and escort Barbara Wright get a first look at half their new hair style, raising over £600 in the process. Hairdresser Sandra Hobart gave Maureen and Barbara a 'number 1' as part of the day centre's activities for Comic Relief.

Staff at the Aberdeen City Council run centre baked 100 cupcakes which they have been selling throughout the day while wearing onesies, red wigs and red noses.

Tenants from Castlehill Housing Association have also been at the centre today so they could also join in the fun and have a laugh as people up and down the country do their bit for Comic Relief.
