Kingswells road improvement works continue
Road improvement works for the Prime Four business park development at Kingswells continue to progress.
Traffic restrictions will be in place this weekend to ensure the works can be carried out safely and motorists are reminded that they must obey the signed instructions on the roads, including the road closures.
From 6.30pm tomorrow [Friday] until approximately 5pm on Sunday [17 March] the C128C Cults to Kingshill road will be closed. The diversion is via Countesswells Road, Springfield Road, Queen's Road and Skene Road.
There will be a westbound lane closure on the A944 Skene Road.
The 30mph speed limit on the A944, from 500m west of the Ardene House Veterinary Hospital access road, to 750m east of the Kingswells roundabout will be in place until 30 June, but will only be enforced when required and signs will be used to inform motorists.
The 20mph speed limit on the same stretch also remains in place until 30 June, but will only be enforced at cross-over points when contra-flows are required and signs will be used to inform motorists.
There will be no access to or egress from the Kingswells Park and Ride car park from the A944 Skene Road until 30 June. Access will be maintained from the C98C Chapel of Stoneywood to Fairley road. Egress will be from the upper car park near the bus terminal.
