Lord Provost to view gallery’s spectacular exhibition

Lord Provost of Aberdeen Peter Stephen has taken time out of his busy schedule to visit the stunning From Van Gogh to Vettriano exhibition at Aberdeen Art Gallery, Schoolhill.
Curator of the exhibition Jennifer Melville accompanied the Lord Provost on his tour of the exhibition, which has seen record visitors since it opened to the public on Saturday, 4 February. At the weekend [18 & 19 February] 2,400 visitors viewed the exhibition.
While at the gallery the Lord Provost met local artist and tutor Kelly-Anne Cairns who is leading an oil painting workshop for adults, who are taking their inspiration from the From Van Gogh to Vettriano exhibition.
