Residential development recommended for approval
Plans for 65 new homes on the outskirts of Bucksburn have been recommended for approval.
The proposed development near Hopetoun Grange consists of five detached three-bedroom houses, 18 detached four-bedroom houses, 18 detached five bedroom houses, eight detached six-bedroom houses, and 16 two-bedroom flats.
In her report to the committee, head of Planning and Sustainable Development Dr Margaret Bochel states: "The proposed development layout is such that along the southern boundary it fronts onto existing dwellings along Hopetoun Grange, thus creating an appropriate link between existing and new development, and a welcome and open frontage onto this main access road.
"The proposed development achieves an acceptable mix of hour types and sizes."
Members of the Development Management Sub-Committee will consider the application when they meet in the Town House on Thursday [22 August].
