Farburn Terrace to close during sewer works
Sewer installation works are to be carried out on Farburn Terrace from Friday [11 October] night.
The road will be partially closed this weekend and a one-way system will be in place from Monday [14 October].
The travelling public is warned of possible delays and advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
The works are being carried out during the school holidays, when traffic levels are lower than usual, to minimise the impact on the travelling public. The contractor will be working extended hours, seven days a week, to ensure the job is completed as quickly as possible.
The road will be closed from the car park access at the rear of the Bank of Scotland to the eastern access of the Menzies Dyce Hotel from 7pm on Friday until 6am on Monday.
A one-way system will be in place on the road between the Wellheads Drive junction and the car park access at the rear of the Bank of Scotland from 6am on Monday, when the road will be open to eastbound traffic only.
An alternative route will be available via Victoria Street, Pitmedden Road, Dyce Drive, and Wellheads Drive.
