Emergency closure of Countesswells Road

Countesswells Road has been closed at its junction with Great Western Road due to a burst Scottish Water main.
Temporary traffic lights are in use at the junction while work to repair the main is carried out. The signals will remain in place until further notice.
Traffic is being diverted via Seafield Road and Anderson Drive, or vice versa, and Countesswells Road, Springfield Road and Great Western Road, or vice versa.
It is hoped that the road will be re-opened and the signals removed at some point over the weekend, but that cannot be confirmed at this stage.
