Make your City Voice heard
25/02/13
The latest City Voice questionnaire, which seeks the views of Aberdeen residents on a broad range of subjects, has been issued to the Citizens Panel.
The 28th edition of City Voice includes questions on the Community Planning theme of 'Fairer' and asks panelists for their views on equality and diversity issues, as well as support for carers. Additional questions focus on City Wardens and the new Transport to Healthcare Information Centre.
The City Voice is a Community Planning initiative supported by Aberdeen's Community Planning Partnership, including Aberdeen City Council, Grampian Police, Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, NHS Grampian, and Aberdeen Council of Voluntary Organisations. It has been running for almost a decade and now has almost 1,000 members.
Panellists are asked to complete three questionnaires a year. The results are used to shape policy, measure performance and plan future service delivery. It tells service providers what they are doing right and what they could be doing better.
We are always looking for new Citizens' panel members, so if you want to make your voice heard on a range of issues affecting your community, please contact the City Voice co-ordinator by emailing cityvoice@aberdeencity.gov.uk or calling 01224 522935. Alternatively, you can find out more and access the questionnaire at www.aberdeencity.gov.uk/consultations.
