Traffic restrictions for Baker Hughes 10k

A series of traffic restrictions will be in place around the Aberdeen beach area this weekend for the Baker Hughes 10K, which takes place on Sunday [18 May]. They are as follows:

Closed on Saturday, 17 May:
• Links Road, between the Beach Ballroom and Urquhart Road, from 6am on Saturday until 6am on Sunday.

Closed on Sunday, 18 May:
• Beach Esplanade between King Street and New Pier Road, from 6am until noon;
• Beach Boulevard between Links Road and Beach Esplanade from 6am until 2pm
• Links Road between Beach Ballroom and Beach Boulevard from 6am until 2pm;
• Links Road between Beach Boulevard and Wellington Street from 9am until noon;
• Accommodation Road between Golf Road and Beach Esplanade from 6am until 2pm;
• Urquhart Road between Park Road and Links Road from 7am until noon;
• Wellington Street Esplanade to Waterloo Quay from 9am until noon;
• St Clement Street between Wellington Street and Miller Street from 9am until noon;
• Miller Street between St Clement Street and Commerce Street from 9am until 10.30am;
• Waterloo Quay between Regent Quay and York Place from 9am until 10.30am;
• York Place between Waterloo Quay and York Street from 9am until 10.30am;
• York Street between York Place and Pocra Quay from 9am until 10.30am;
• Pocra Quay between York Street and New Pier Road from 9am until 10.30am;
• New Pier Road between Pocra Quay and Beach Esplanade from 9am until 10.30am;
• Cotton Street between Links Road and Miller Street from 8.30am until 10.30am;
• Commerce Street, southbound between Castle Terrace and Waterloo Quay from 9am until 10.30am;
• Regent Walk, eastbound, at Golf Road from 8am until 1pm;
• Golf Road between Regent Walk and School Road from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Place East between Seaton Crescent and Seaton Road from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Crescent between School Road and Seaton Place East from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Drive between Seaton Road and King Street from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Walk from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Avenue from Seaton Drive from 8am until 1pm;
• Seaton Road between Seaton Drive and Seaton Place East from 8am until 1pm.

One way systems in operation between 6am and 1pm on Sunday:
• Park Road, open to northbound traffic only, between Urquhart Road and Golf Road;
• Golf Road, open to northbound traffic only, between Park Road and Regent Walk;
• School Road, open to westbound traffic only;
• Regent Walk, open to westbound traffic only between Golf Road and the access road at the rear of property number 90-106 Golf Road;
• Commerce Street, northbound between Waterloo Quay and Virginia Street.

No right turns between 8.30am and 1pm on Sunday:
• from Linksfield Road onto Golf Road;
• from Pittodrie Place onto Golf Road;
• from Pittodrie Street onto Golf Road;
• from Seaforth Road onto Park Road;
• from Seaton Drive onto Seaton Road;
• from St Ninians Place onto King Street;
• from Don Street onto King Street;
• from the Lidl car park onto King Street.

Parking restrictions will be in force across the area throughout the weekend.  Cones will be used to show the no-parking areas.
