A944 fast lanes to close off peak
The fast lanes on a stretch of the A944 by Kingswells will be closed in both directions on Tuesday and Wednesday [6 and 7 November].
The lanes will be closed during off-peak hours only, while preparatory works for road construction for the new Prime Four development are carried out.
Fairley Road in Kingswells will be open to eastbound traffic only between its junctions with the C89C Chapel of Stoneywood road and the T-junction at the rear of house number 9 Whiterashes. The one-way system will be in place for up to five days from Tuesday [6 November].
Temporary traffic lights will be in use on Fairley Road between its junction with the U106A Lang Stracht and the rear of house number 9 Whiterashes from Tuesday, 6 November until Wednesday, 14 November.
The Fairley Road restrictions are to ensure public safety during work to install communication and high voltage electricity cables for the Prime 4 development.
