John Tomlinson - Corporate Director, Neighbourhood Services (North Area)
John Tomlinson completed his studies at the Universities of Glasgow and Manchester, and came to Aberdeen in 1992 after working in both Dundee and Glasgow.
When Aberdeen City Council evolved from Grampian Regional Council in 1996, John was appointed to the position of Director of Community Development. He subsequently held the position of Director of Social Work (2000), Corporate Director for Neighbourhood Services (South Area) (2002), and took up his current position as Corporate Director for Neighbourhood Services (North Area) in 2005.
