Marching the Stones

Marching the Stones
Wed 28 June

Venue: Richard Donald Stand, Pittodrie Football Stadium
Time: 6pm - 7pm

The historical boundary for the City of Aberdeen, as granted by Robert the Bruce in the 14th century, is marked by a 26-mile circle of stones from the Dee to the Don. During July, a series of short, free, led walks will give people an opportunity to visit and learn about the stones. On Wednesday 28 June, a taster 2 mile evening walk (lasting approx. 1hr) will run from outside Pittodrie, finishing at Broad Hill. The walk is suitable for all ages but please be aware it covers some  rassy/uneven ground. We also advise you to dress for the weather conditions and wear suitable footwear.

Refreshments will be available after the walk at the Linx Ice Arena.
