Armed Forces Day

Saturday 24 June 2017
Parade: 11am, Union Street

Armed Forces Day Parade
Watch the impressive parade of serving military men and women, veteran associations, cadet and youth organisations accompanied by local pipe bands march down Union Street, finishing at the Castlegate.

The parade is a celebration of the history and proud record of the armed forces and allows the people of Aberdeen to show their respect for the role they play within our society.

If you are connected to the armed forces (serving personnel, veteran, cadet, TA or a war widow) and would like to become involved in our armed forces day please contact us.

Flag Competition

Primary school aged children are invited to take part in our design a flag competition. We have three prizes and the overall winning design will be printed and waved by the public watching the parade along Union Street.

For full details and an entry form visit the Design a Flag Competition page.
Closing Date: Friday 5 May 2017
