Gorge Walking

If you are looking for a day full of adventure and crammed with adrenaline, then gorge-walking is right up your street! Explore North-East Scotland's best gorges and rivers by swimming, wading, stepping over stones and jumping into deep pools.

gorge-walking is an exciting group journey up or down a rivers course, combining time in the water with scrambling along river banks and gorge sides. Like Coasteering, gorge-walking is a fantastic group activity, with an emphasis on both teamwork and interdependence. It sets the stage for unlimited group adventure, achievement, challenge and success.

There are many small but challenging gorges local to Aberdeen. Larger and wilder gorges can be found in Tarfside and in the Braemar or Speyside areas.
