The Process and Timetable

Details

Runners on the Riverside of the DonOver the last few years a great deal of work has taken place in gathering information and views on current access opportunities. This initial information was used in order to develop a Consultative Draft Core Paths Plan which put forward a network of candidate core paths. The Consultative Draft Core Paths Plan was subject to an informal consultation between December 2007 and February 2008. Opinions gathered during the consultation have been used to build upon the Consultative Draft in order to prepare a Final Draft Core Paths Plan.

We are now at the sage of undertaking a twelve week formal consultation on the proposed core paths within the Final Draft Core Paths Plan.

The table below provides a summary of the various stages used to develop the Final Draft Core Paths Plan.

2003 – 2006: Information Gathering
10 December 2007 – 4 February 2008: Consultation on Consultative Draft Core Paths Plan (Initial Suggestions)
Mid 2008: Formal Consultation on Finalised Draft Core Paths Plan

Late 2008: Adoption Process (including possible Public Enquiry)

Equality and Human Rights Impact Assessment of the Aberdeen Core Paths Plan
