Introduction
Swimming is a very popular pastime in Aberdeen and Aberdeen City Council provides 9 Swimming Pools that provide a host of different aquatic activities for the people of Aberdeen to enjoy. Our Swimming Pools are located throughout the City in various areas where you will find a full programme of activities in place. We have a large fun pool at The Beach Leisure Centre and a host of 25 Metre Swimming Pools.
We provide many different aquatic activities that include; Public swimming sessions, Swimming Lessons for children and adults, Aqua Aerobics, Competitive swimming opportunities, Mother and Toddler sessions, adults only swim time, Ladies only swim time, Fun in the water swim sessions for children, the chance to join a swimming club, water polo, diving instruction and more......
