Parent & Toddler Activities
Fun Sessions for Parents & Toddlers
Aberdeen City Council and associated groups have organised fun sessions in various Sports Centres and Swimming Pool's throughout the City. Whether its Swimming, Tennis, Football or soft play we'll have a session near you. Our sessions are designed so that active toddlers can burn off some of that energy and parents can introduce their child into a safe environment with other parents. Our Parent & Toddler sessions can give parents an opportunity to try an new activity and let their child try something new which will help socialise and develop their confidence especially in a water based activity.
Parent and Toddler fun sessions are available in the following activities:

Class Information
All our classes are taken by qualified coaches where relevant. However, where no coach is required, such as The Parent & Toddler Swimming Sessions, qualified lifeguards are available at the side of the Pool for you and your child's safety. Moreover, all Aberdeen City Council staff have gone through the Disclosure Scotland check and this is done as a mater of course before members of staff can work in any part of our Facilities and Sports services.
Where the class is not run directly by Aberdeen City Council, interested Parent's should initially contact the telephone number provided or go along to speak to a coach at the relevant Sports Centre to find out availability or cost information. This basically means that the group has hired out our Sports hall in order to run their own coaching class.
