Baker Hughes 10k 2008
The event will keep the increased entry limit of 4000 participants to allow more runners to take part in this years event. Unfortunately, the event may sellout before the official closing dates, so please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Entry Information
Please ensure that you fill out the Entry form completely and make sure that you have signed the form and enclosed appropriate payment. Failure to do so could result in your non entry into the race.
Payment of postal entries can be made by Cheque and postal orders which shall be crossed and must be made payable to Aberdeen City Council. Please put the runners name and address on the back of the cheque, this enables the correct entry to be deleted if cheques are not honoured. Please note that no refund can be given. Check your bank statement for confirmation of acceptance.
PLEASE NOTE: ON ENTERING THE EVENT, YOU GIVE CONSENT FOR YOUR IMAGE TO BE USED IN FUTURE PROMOTIONS. HOWEVER, NO PERSONAL DETAILS WILL BE PASSED ON TO ANY 3RD PARTY.

Entries may close prior to this date if all places are sold. Places are limited to 4000 entries. and please note that no entries will be accepted on the day. Entries may close early if allocation is met before deadline date. A letter will be sent to all postal entrants confirming a place in the race. All online entrants will receive a confirmation email from the provider.

Race Details
Race packs will be sent out from the 8th May 2008. If you have not received your pack by 19th May 2008 email: bakerhughes10k@aberdeencity.gov.uk Please note that there is limited entries for the 10k race, unsuccessful entrants will have application forms and cheques returned.
Please Print the address to which you wish all mailings to be sent - please notify any change of address as soon as possible.
The minimum age for entry for the 10k race is 17 (on the day of the race)
For safety reasons:
- No entries on roller skates, wheelbarrows, push chairs, carrying various objects for charity etc. Genuine wheelchair users only.
- No pets, dogs or horses
- No baby joggers allowed in 10k race
- No collections allowed at event.
- No Personal Music devices to be used i.e mp3 player, CD Players
Each 10k runner will receive a New Balance t-shirt. The t-shirt is a New Balance performance t-shirt designed specifically for running and it would normally retail for £19.99. New Balance also do a vast range of running shoes suitable for beginners right up to seasoned athletes. Check out the full range of footware and apparel at their website address listed below or by calling in at one of your local New Balance stockists.
Please note the T-Shirt is uni-sex sizing. Limited sizing of T-Shirts available, T-Shirt size cannot be guaranteed. We have used the information from last years event to work the size numbers required.
