Day Camps
Children who enjoy spending their holidays with friends of similar ages, playing sports and energetic games as well as some arts and crafts activities, will love Aberdeen City Councils DAYCAMPS. Parents/carers who want their children to be looked after by leaders carefully selected for their knowledge of sport and childcare, and who will play with, entertain and supervise the children, will choose DAYCAMPS.
To care for children whilst they take part in sports based structured activities during school holidays*
To ensure that children are:
- cared for in a safe and secure environment
- valued and treated with respect as individuals
- provided with a stimulating environment to enable them to develop skills, knowledge and confidence
- involved in the process of planning and evaluating activity plans
To ensure that parents/carers are:
- confident that their children are receiving appropriate care
- involved in the process of evaluating the service
