Bookings Information

The Bookings team is the centralised contact point for customers wishing to book a 'one-off ' event and or an extended use booking within the Citywide Sports facilities covering:

Sports Centres
Beach Leisure Complex
Swimming Pools
Outdoor Pitches
Bowling Centres

If you are looking to arrange a venue for a major event, a children’s activity session, coaching classes or simply hire a meeting room in a local sports facility, the Events Team will be able to provide you with information on costs, availability and guide you through the bookings system.

The helpline is staffed during normal office hours 0900-1700, Monday to Friday.

Bookings Guide

Type of Booking	Time Scale of Booking	Information	Who to contact
Normal booking	0 - 3 days in Advance	Normal booking no requirement to contact the Bookings team, just the facility directly.	Facilities direct
Priority Booking	3 - 6 days in advance	Holders of ACE membership and Priority booking passes can book up to 6 days in advance.	Facilities direct
Special Event	6 + days (requires at least 3 weeks notice)	One off events such as a Sports Competition, Birthday party or for simply a social meeting	Bookings team
Regular Special event	Up to 8 weeks maximum (requires at least 3 weeks notice)	Ideal Booking for a Club looking to hire a hall or room on the same day each week and pay on the day.	Bookings team
Quarterly Let	13 weeks	Block Booking for 13 weeks. Set blocks throughout the year. Renewal letter sent out 4 weeks prior. Must be paid in advance.	Bookings team
Sports Pitches	Maximum of 7 days in advance	Contact the Bookings team by telephone to book an outdoor Sports Pitch for either Football, Hockey or Cricket.	Bookings team
Bowling Green	Per Season (April - September only)	Bookings can be made for your club or Social group to bowl at one of our Outdoor Bowling Greens.	Bookings team
Courtesy of the Tee	Golf Booking	Courtesy of the Tee Times can be made at our five 18 Hole golf courses for one off events.	Bookings team
