3Rs Project - Photographs from Sites

This page holds images of the construction progress at each of the active sites.  The current site development is very rapid and even as these images are posted the sites may have changed a great deal.  If possible we will continue to update these images each month as the buildings develop.

1. View the Airyhall Site 
Removal of the topsoil is complete; foundation and drainage works are underway.  Existing community facilities are visible to the top left of the photograph.

2. View the Braehead Site
Removal of topsoil is underway.  Existing huts are being used as site accommodation but will not form part of the final site.  Bridge of Don Academy is visible to the top left of the photograph.

The first image shows mainly what will form the main Academy, the second image shows an overview of the entire campus including the Beacon Centre (to the left of both images) and Swimming Pool (near the bottom of the second image).   The Beacon Centre will also be refurbished as part of the 3Rs Project with the new school linking to the Centre.

Three images showing the advanced progress at the Cults site; with the existing Academy visible to the top of the first photograph.  The second shows the largely completed roof and windows on the main teaching area of the school and the third shows the sports facilities and swimming pool (which were still to receive their roof when the picture was taken).

8. View the Heathryburn Site
This picture was taken just as the Glulam and roof construction was beginning and materials are being laid out ready for installation.  This work is now well underway.
