Union Street Frontages Policy Guide imageThe Union Street Frontages Policy Guidelines aim to ensure an appropriate mix and location of shopping, service and commercial leisure functions on Union Street by applying minimum percentages of ground floor retail frontage that are required in individual sectors of Union Street. Planning applications for a change of use from retail to non-retail uses such as banks, building societies, cafes, restaurants etc. are considered within the context of Policy 52 of the Aberdeen Local Plan and regard should be had to the contents of this document and regard should be had to the Union Street Frontages Policy Guidelines.
