If you wish to make a complaint about a licensed activity or licence holder you must do so in writing and provide us with your name and address. We cannot act on anonymous complaints.
Complaints regarding taxis and private hire cars and/or their drivers should be made to:

Objections
If you wish to object to an application for a liquor or gaming licence you must be either:
- the community council for the area in which the premises are located,
- a person owning or occupying property in the neighbourhood of the premises,
- an organised church representing a significant body of opinion among persons residing in the neighbourhood of the premises.
Your objection must:
- be in writing and signed by you
- be copied, with the copy of your objection sent to the applicant
- be received by the Licensing Board and the applicant before the date shown on the list of meeting/lodging dates and
- state the grounds of your objection.
If you wish to object to an application for any other type of licence your objection must:
- be made within 21 days of the date of the application or of the advert, or 28 days if the application is for a sex shop licence,
- be in writing
- be signed by you and
- state the grounds of your objection.
