Aberdeen College Learning Centre
The Aberdeen College Learning Centre is set up in partnership with Aberdeen College. It consists of 12 PCs with DVD burners, USB ports and Internet access together with a booking kiosk to make your own Internet bookings.
Aberdeen College run classes in the Learning Centre led by a College tutor.
Students can enrol for any of the following courses in the Learning Centre:
- Computing for the Quietly Confident 1 (College Cert)
- Computing for the Quietly Confident 2 (College Cert)
- e-Citizen (BCS)
- Computing (Various SQA NC Units)
The following courses are available at other branch libraries throughout the city:
- Introduction to Digital Photography (SQA Unit)
- Creative Digital Photography (College Cert)
- Computing for the Terrified 1 (College Cert)
- Computing for the Terrified 2 (College Cert)
- Introduction to the Internet (College Cert)
- Creating Web Pages: MS Frontpage (College Cert)
- ECDL Year 1 - Mods 3, 4 & 6 + Core Skills (BCS)
- ECDL Year 2 - Mods 1, 2, 5 & 7 (BCS)
