Important Legal and Registration Announcements:
Landlord Registration is a legal requirement. Therefore, failure to complete registration will disqualify an individual, organisation and/or agency from acting as a legal landlord. Furthermore, registration is NOT considered complete until full payment is received.
Payment must be made by cheque. Alternatively you can make an online payment by debit card. Please note that online payments can only be made through the Private Landlord Registration Website.
There are four ways to register:
- 1. Apply online: To register online, please visit: www.landlordregistrationscotland.gov.uk. Please note - if choosing this application method, payment must be made electronically.
- 2. Request a paper application by contacting the Landlord Registration Office. Please note: If choosing this application method, payment can only be made by cheque.
- 3. Telephone the office to register. Please note: if choosing this application method an invoice for payment will be issued as we cannot accept debit card payments by telephone.
- 4. Download a copy of the application form: Landlord Registration Application. Please note: If choosing this application method, payment can only be made by cheque. For additional properties, download the Application Form Insert for Additional Properties.
