Arts Development at Whitespace
The Arts Development Team is at the forefront of partnership working, in line with the Council’s strategies to improve the quality of life of the people of Aberdeen. All ages are catered for, from pre-school children to adults, Senior Citizens and those with special needs. The Team’s outreach staff and resources are specifically targeted to work in communities where there is most need.
In response to numerous requests, we have decided to extend the programme to give you some idea of the extent of the outreach work we do, and provide a contact list for staff who work in your area should you have ideas for classes of your own!
Inside you will find information on all classes taking place in the WhiteSpace studio on Frederick Street, and a profile of just some of the things happening in the 37 neighbourhoods.The classes listed are suitable for beginners. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, so whether you just want to try something new or want to develop an existing skill, book now to avoid disappointment.
