Aberdeen Walkathon

The Aberdeen Walkathon has been an annual event held in the City for the past 10 years. Held at Aberdeen Beach, this popular charity fun walk gives an opportunity for all ages and abilities to not only raise money for local charities but to promote walking as a healthy lifestyle which benefits all. The City Council is hugely indebted to the continuing support from its sponsor and partner, Technip.

Anyone can take part in the Walkathon. There are a number of walks ranging from a flat 2km course through to the longer 12km course taking in some of Aberdeen's beautiful scenery around the Beach, Donmouth and Seaton Park areas. All walks start at 12 noon.

All walkers taking part receive a commemorative T-shirt, medal and walkers handbook.
