Economic Promotion and City Events
Economic Promotion & City Events is headed by Louise Scott and is currently divided into 3 key areas:
Economic Promotion - The marketing and promotion of Aberdeen's image locally, nationally and internationally, for the purpose of growing the economy.
Regional Identity - Development and delivery of the Aberdeen City and Shire regional identity brand.
City Events - Delivery, development and management of the city's events programme.
We devise communications and marketing plans to promote the city as a key destination for business, leisure, to relocate to and to invest in and aim to raise the profile of the area using the Regional Identity and other initiatives.
We are also responsible for the delivery of a wide range of events in the city including major events such as Tartan Day, Annual Fireworks Display, Aberdeen's Winter Festival programme and Aberdeen's Hogmanay.
