The City of Aberdeen Hogmanay Street Party

The City of Aberdeen's Hogmanay Celebrations have been a long standing annual event held outdoors in the City Centre starting on the 31st December and continuing through to the early hours on 1st of January.

The Street Party marks the beginning of the New Year and is a broadly marketed free event delivering a programme of live music and entertainment. It is designed to attract an audience from a wide cross section of the local community, the region national and international visitors.

The Street Party has a full programme of live and free entertainment between the hours of 9.00pm on 31 December through to 12.30am on 1 January. The stage is located on the Castlegate facing westwards towards Holburn Junction and the event normally has a Scottish theme for it is entertainment programme.
