The Commission for Racial Equality’s Formal Investigation into Regeneration

The Commission for Racial Equality is conducting a general formal investigation into regeneration, which is looking at how public authorities across England, Wales and Scotland are meeting their race equality duty in carrying out their regeneration functions – looking in particular at the social and economic effects of physical regeneration.

The directors of the investigation have launched a call for evidence as the first stage of their investigation asking for evidence from people involved in or affected by regeneration and for examples of specific physical regeneration. We wish to draw your attention to this opportunity and would encourage you to respond. Please note the deadline for responses, which is the end of January.
