Disability Strategy
Details
The Disability Equality Strategy has been developed- to promote an accessible environment in which all people can live in independence and dignity
- to provide better and more relevant services for people with disabilities
- to inform service providers of the issues that are important to people with disabilities.
The strategy has been developed in conjunction with disability support groups and individuals. A more detailed action plan has been produced with specific measurable actions and agreed disability equality outcomes.
