Scrutiny Panel
Function
To oversee the performance of the audit function; to consider the Council's annual report and annual accounts; to review minuted actions from all main Committees (with the exception of Planning and Licensing Committees) to ensure compliance with legal requirements and good practice; and to ensure the Council meets its legal obligations through reviewing financial information, ensuring compliance with audit legislation and approval of the annual audit programme.
Membership
Councillor Crockett, Convener; Lord Provost Stephen; and Councillors Boulton, Cooney, Cormack, Cormie, Donnelly, Farquharson, McCaig, McDonald, Malone, Jennifer Stewart and Wendy Stuart.
