Function
To ensure good stewardship of the Council's resources; to maintain the good conduct of elected members; to audit the Council's activities and ensure that Best Value is obtained; to promote, monitor and develop continuous improvement; to take responsibility for services provided by the Continuous Improvement Service; and to have ultimate responsibility for performance delivery."
