 1.1 Contribution of Micro-renewables in the Reduction of Carbon Emissions - Notice of Motion by Councillor Delaney:-
  “That Council recognises the contribution of micro-renewables in the reduction of carbon emissions and urges our representatives in the Scottish Parliament to (1) review planning regulations in light of the Stern Report to relax the regulatory regime and make it easier for individuals to retro-fit solar panels and wind turbines to their homes, bringing such devices within the permitted development regime where appropriate;  and (2) introduce appropriate planning and building control legislation and where appropriate policy and guidance to require all new build properties to be constructed in a sustainable manner and fitted with appropriate micro renewable capability.”
