Final Draft Bon Accord Quarter Masterplan
A masterplan has been commissioned by the Scottish Retail Property Limited Partnership (SRPLP) in to guide the future development of the Bon Accord and St Nicholas area of the City Centre. The Final Draft Bon Accord Quarter Masterplan was approved by the Planning Committee on 22 June 2006 for the purposes of a second phase of public consultation.
The SRPLP has been working closely with the City Council to revise and further develop the Final Draft Masterplan in response to extensive public consultation carried out over 10 weeks in autumn 2005 and Strategic Transport Appraisal requested by the Committee last year.
The Bon Accord Quarter Masterplan further develops the vision for a “civic heart” as one of the 5 strategic projects published in the 2001 Aberdeen Urban Realm Strategy.
The Final Draft Bon Accord Masterplan and summary are available here on the website. Copies of the masterplan can be viewed in all Aberdeen City Libraries and at Planning & Infrastructure, 8th Floor, St Nicholas House, Broad Street.
