EXPLORE ABERDEEN

We are undertaking a Traffic Management Review of the Tillydrone, Seaton, Sunnybank and Old Aberdeen area.

The review is a process of identifying and investigating various problems within a local area and developing solutions to improve

  • the amenity of local residents, and
  • the safety of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists.

The measures that may result from these investigations and which we may promote to improve road safety, visibility and access, include

  • traffic calming
  • parking and waiting restrictions
  • public transport and cycling priority measures.

The initial stage of this review is to identify problems affecting you as a resident, trader or other party, as you walk, cycle, drive or use public transport through this area.

Although we are already aware of some areas of difficulty, thanks to your correspondence and to comments from local Councillors, the emergency services and others, we think it's important to involve you at an early stage of the review process.

We therefore invite you to consider what traffic problems affect you and how you would wish to see them addressed. You can do this by completing a short questionnaire Please provide your responses by Thursday 8 July 2004 to:
