Draft Dyce Drive Revised Planning Brief

For a number of years, Aberdeen City Council has been working extensively with the relevant landowners and Scottish Enterprise Grampian to deliver new business and industrial development in the Dyce Drive/Airport South-West area.

As part of this process a Development Brief was approved in 1998 after public consultation. That Development Brief now needs to be adjusted to reflect changed circumstances since its original approval in 1998, not least of which is the Scottish Executive's commitment to funding the Western Peripheral Route, which will bring transport benefits to the release of development land within the masterplan area.

There is also a need to consider changing requirements in the market for business and industrial development and the Council's proposal for a Park and Ride facility on the Inverurie Road corridor.

Planning Committee members agreed to the review of the existing Development Brief at their meeting on 22 January 2004 and to issue the revised Planning Brief for public consultation.

Comments are therefore invited on the revised Dyce Drive Planning Brief. This should be done in writing and sent either by post, to
