UK Climate Change Consultation

The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Scottish Executive are currently consulting on the review of their climate change programmes.

Climate change is a very important issue which affects people across the country. It is a particularly topical issue given the UK's presidency of both the EU and the G8 group of leading industrial nations later this year. The Prime Minister has made it clear that climate change will be one of the UK's prime objectives during the two presidencies, so the government is interested in the views of the public on how the UK can reduce carbon emissions.

To help DEFRA gather views on the issue, Citizen Space is running an online consultation. The consultation is quick and easy to take part in, taking between 10 and 20 minutes to complete in full.

This consultation ends on the 7 March 2005
