Are you interested in coming to exhibition previews, receptions and recitals? Then the friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums is for you! For over 25 years the friends have supported the museum service by raising funds which have contributed to the purchase of significant works of art and objects for the collections – two Neolithic carved stone balls, a portfolio of sketches by fashion designer Bill Gibb and works by famous artists, including Claude Monet amongst the recent acquisitions. Anyone can become a friend and benefits include invitations to exhibitions, openings and private views and a discount on most items sold in our shops. For details and membership forms contact:
